Day 1,Depart Southampton

Departing Southampton at 16:30 pm, you can enjoy the expansive facilities onboard the wonderful Independence of The Seas. On your holiday, you should be as relaxed as possible, and enjoying a treatment or two at the Vitality Spa is sure to put you in that holiday mood. The Signature Services include hot stone or seaweed massages, and acupuncture.

Day 2,Cruising

Get familiar with the ship and explore many of the facilities available onboard. There are also plenty of places onboard to stop off for a quick bite to eat, or to take your time over a leisurely dinner. Chops Grille is a real American steakhouse and is perfect for those who love beautifully crafted dishes with superior ingredients.

Day 3,Vigo, Spain

The Ship arrives early into Vigo at 10:00 am providing you with the day to explore the city. Browse the shops and explore the harbor with a prompt return to the ship before it departs at 17:00 pm.

Day 4,Lisbon, Portugal

Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, has become an increasingly popular place to visit in recent years, with a warm Mediterranean climate in spite of its place facing the Atlantic Ocean. Full of bleached white limestone buildings and intimate alleyways, Lisbon's mix of traditional architecture and contemporary culture makes it the perfect place to explore. Independence of the Seas departs at 17:00pm leaving you the evening to enjoy onboard.

Day 5,Seville (Cadiz) Spain

Discover Seville, the capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region, See famous landmarks like the Cathedral of Seville, the former Moorish fortress of Alcazar and Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería (or La Maestranza), the oldest bullring in Spain. You’ll learn all about the city’s Moorish past and vibrant culture.

Day 6,Cruising

Enjoy the ROYAL PROMENADE, This bustling thoroughfare is the beating heart of the ship, where you can shop ‘til you drop at a choice of fantastic designer boutiques, stop for delicious cocktails and enjoy a bite to eat or simply soak up the incredible atmosphere. And by night, the Royal Promenade comes alive with late night music, dancing and a whole lot of fun.

Day 7,Lanzarote, Canary Islands

Many people are surprised when they discover that Lanzarote has quite a wide range of museums, covering many aspects of both local history and the arts. The best known is the Museum of International and Contemporary Art in Arrecife, but there are also smaller and more eclectic venues such as the Museo del Tanit which are well worth a visit too.

Day 8,Grand Canaria

Las Palmas is a capital of Gran Canaria, the city is known for duty-free shopping and for its sandy beaches. At Playa de Las Canteras, a coral barrier lines the beach and shelters swimmers. The annual Las Palmas de Gran Canaria carnival brings together flamboyantly costumed performers, music and dancing. Enjoy the city at your own leisure from 07:00am to 17:00pm.

Day 9,Tenerife, Canary Islands

Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, is also one of the most scenically stunning islands in the world. Tenerife is about 300 kilometres from the African continent. Santa Cruz, a historic city founded in the 15th century, is well worth the effort to explore. Once outside the port gates you'll find a broad and beautiful promenade, from this jewelry shops filled with fine silver goods, high street shopping brands are plenty. A good thing to remember is that the Canary Islands are a low tax area so you will always find good bargain-priced goods

Day 10 ,La Palma, Canary Islands

If your idea of a perfect day in port includes ambling along winding cobbled streets, browsing offbeat craft shops and watching the world go by from a street cafe, Santa Cruz de la Palma is an ideal destination. you'll find fine Spanish colonial houses with elaborate balconies and bougainvillea-draped white frontages -- and one of the world's largest volcanic craters. The Caldera de Taburiente measures nearly 17.5 miles across and nearly half a mile deep, and because it is home to rare animal and plant life, it has also been designated a national park.

Day 11,Cruising

After visiting 7 destinations in 10 days, The Independence of Seas allows a day of rest and further use of the excellent facilities onboard. Whether it’s poolside, enjoying cocktails, or wrapped up at night under the stars, enjoy blockbuster movies and major sporting events with a twist at the spectacular open-air, poolside cinema screen.

Day 12,Lisbon, Portugal

Return to Lisbon and either continue to explore at your leisure or enjoy more time onboard.

Day 13,Vigo, Spain

Return to Vigo and either continue to explore at your leisure or enjoy more time onboard.

Day 14,Cruising

Recount your adventure and enjoy the last day and evening onbard the wonderful Independence of the Seas.
